The OPPO A96 will be released on May 4

OPPO announced on Tuesday that the A96, the latest addition to its A-Series smartphone range, will be available in the Philippines.

The OPPO A96 will be released in the country on May 4, according to the smart device manufacturer.

"The A-Series has shown to be the go-to smartphone for mobile gamers time and time again, which is why OPPO is raising the bar on this line to ensure that everyone gets the device they deserve." For years, we've been dedicated to providing true value-for-money smartphones with uncompromised and superior performance for gaming and even productivity for Filipinos," said Chiqui Tapawan, OPPO Philippines' head of marketing communications.

"We think the OPPO A96 will be a monument to our devotion," Ms. Tapawan said, adding that the phone is built to be powerful.

The A96 is aimed at mobile gamers and has a "long-lasting battery, strong hardware, and software for exceptional performance," according to OPPO.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 680 4G Mobile Platform and has an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity for excellent gaming.

It has a 5000mAh battery and can charge at 33W SUPERVOOCTM flash charging.

The OPPO A96 features a 6.59-inch Color-Rich Punch-Hole Display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080x2412 FHD resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate.
