How to Force-enable VoLTE calls on 4G LTE that not supported by DITO Telecommunity

This is information on how to use the Engineering Settings (Engineer Mode) on any MediaTek Android handset for DITO subscribers to allow VoLTE calls by entering the device's settings.

Please read Section 3.) The DITO Network and Section 7.) Mobile Devices of the "DITO Subscription Terms and Conditions" before continuing.

You must own an Android device with a MediaTek Chipset, so make sure to verify its specifications and download Device Info HW from Google Play to learn more about it. Only MediaTek devices powered by this chipset have access to Engineer Mode.

I also want to add a warning that says it is your responsibility to use your smartphone and the DITO network.

1.) 4G LTE functionality is required on all MediaTek smartphones. Without 4G LTE, the feature cannot be supported.

2.) Your device must support the LTE Bands that are now available, for example, Band 1, Band 28, and Band 41, with plans to support additional LTE bands in the future.

3.) Following the configuration of your APN, changing your mobile number, etc., you must have DITO SIM active on your smartphone.

Method 1: Turn on VoLTE in the settings of the device

You must be familiar with this process on mobile OS because this instruction differs greatly depending on the settings on any given device.

1. Visit the device's settings

2. Tap Internet or network connections

3. Select Cellular or Mobile Networks.

4. Choose a network (which your carrier is DITO)

5. Selecting VoLTE, HD voice, or Enhanced 4G LTE calls will then be enabled. Turn it to "ON"

This is a fundamental step; if Method 1 does not succeed, keep VoLTE calls active and move on to Method 2.
